And I too have been glad that you have been keeping us informed about the detour (or is that road map).

I see Rafa has withdrawn from the YEC.Helen Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07008651858978530028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-757702474597183495.post-7364092310935634012008-11-03T02:56:00.000-05:002008-11-03T02:56:00.000-05:00Hey Tristann. Murray has always been the one who was supposed to play well. Many of us had given up on Delpo. If it's Murray who wins I won't have a problem with that.

I saw Chennai and I saw Queens. I may be a little sentimental about Chennai because Rafa survived that marathon against Moya in that heat and humidity. Of course he was unable to move the next day and Youzhny got an easy win (before people jump all over me Mikhail admitted that he had not beaten the real Nadal that day). Of course Queens turned out to be a preview of Wimbledon didn't it?Savannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15079111598976360942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-757702474597183495.post-36091863992699295672008-11-02T23:47:00.000-05:002008-11-02T23:47:00.000-05:00Hi Savannah,I don't know if it is the lugubrious l...Hi Savannah,

I don't know if it is the lugubrious lighting in Bercy but I have a bad case of the blahs.

Good award selections. I agree with most of them, except that as most improved player I would have to pick Murray. I actually like Del Potro better and he did have a good run this summer, but Andy M. has taken some big scalps (Fed X2, Djoko X2 and Nadal X1) winning 2 masters shields in the process. Never would have guessed it at the start of the year.

I would also pick Queens instead of Chennai. For a tournament its size it had an impressive draw with some good matches.

I also wished there was a special booby award to be awarded to the French crowd at Bercy.tristannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04791414659703823532noreply@blogger.com
